Given the book’s shortcomings, I did enjoy it a lot, but I had something that aided my learning which greatly mitigated these shortcomings – the solutions manual and detailed PowerPoint presentations that worked out all exercises and problems. Gana dinero con nosotros. It does have examples that help understand the basics, but some of the problems are tricky. Professor Dorf has extensive experience with education and industry and is professionally active in the fields of robotics, automation, electric circuits, and communications. Given this theme, this book endeavors to show how the analysis and design of electric circuits are inseparably intertwined with the ability of the engineer to design complex electronic, communication, computer and control systems as well as consumer products.
Kindle Direct Publishing Publica tu libro en papel y digital de manera independiente. I needed this book for a class and so I had lectures that explained the material decently.

Things like improper units being used on graphs, examples being incorrect, librp I appreciate his good work toward teaching other engineers to learn Electrical Engineering better. I’ll just reply with the link to where I have the file hosted.
It does not explain well and this class was difficult enough without the book having to make it worse. The livro is presented neatly and stepped through slowly with a lot of in-depth information.

I found that the book was okay. Now, I know what they’re used for, but for those who don’t bring such a background into the classroom, this can leave the reader feeling a little svogoda.
Nothing wrong with amazon or anything.
They were so common that the class began bringing up suspected typos to the instructor, which svobodda became a class activity. Dorf, professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of California, Davis, teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in electrical engineering in the fields of circuits and control systems.
Richard is a good author. International student edition 16 de abril de Idioma: This book isn’t really as horrible as other reviews indicate. I used the book for homework on a daily basis and anytime I would try to read svobodx to understand a topic I would have to read 6 times and then come to the conclusion its just not going to help. I agree ithe book xorf very confusing for a beginner or a person who’s totally new into circuits but in my opinion the whole thing depends on how strong your background is in calculus and university phsyics.
This book just sucks. The examples are very detailed.

The weird thing about the book was it had a few answers and were generally the easier problems that had the answers. He has taught this course to sgoboda, undergraduates at Clarkson Sgoboda over the past 30 years.

This book is designed for a one-to three-term course in electric circuits or liibro circuit analysis, and is structured for maximum flexibility. Aside from the spiking difficulty curve dprf the material and the problems, also the typos, the book is actually quite amazing. The problems by themselves can take quite some time, but when the material cannot be relied upon, this makes the simple task of doing homework a nightmare fraught with constant, “How do I handle such-and-such when such-and-such is like this?
The book follows a simplistic approach when introducing the material, but the problems livro the end of the chapters are much more difficult.
I appreciate his good work toward teaching So difficult that I found the material was sometimes inadequate in providing any guidance at all.

If the instructor has not provided them to us during the course of our studies, my experience would’ve been substandard at best. Professor Svoboda has written several research papers describing the advantages of using nullors to model electric circuits for computer analysis. Yes, working out typos. The author talks about real industrial circuits and not theoretical circuits.
He earned a PhD in electrical engineering from the U. For me the book works, i haven’t encountered much difficulty although i did have to struggle sometimes with some chapter problems in the book. I think you definitely could self-learn the stuff from the book, but you would probably have to look up some things online. The central theme of Introduction to Electric Circuits is the concept that electric circuits are a part of the basic fabric of modern technology.
Overall, i’d give this book 7 and a half out of 10, on a scale of 0 to Another issue with the book was typos.
For example, when introducing inductors, it says, “an inductor is a circuit element that stores energy in a magnetic field”, and that’s about it, we then go into equations and examples.
