Lists with This Book. Growing up in the Catholic church I could understand everything Lexie was going through. I had such high hopes for this being my next 5 star read. Hilary is really annoying and made me throw the book away a lots of desrochefs, that’s how indecisive and problematic this girl is. She even fag if she can love two guys at the same time? And their parents didn’t mind that their kids were way too close for “siblings”.

He has a dark past and he saw being a priest as amends for that. It’s really hard to talk about my dislike of the book without giving anything away, so if you don’t want a spoiler of any description, then it’s probably best to stop reading now. This was one of those rare moments when I actually paid attention first to the summary.

On top of that, he hasn’t forgiven himself for everything that happened in the group home with him, Hilary, and his brother Lorenzo. But at the same time they’re also, each in their own way, very off limits for Lexie which makes it all the harder for her to choose whether one of them might be “the one”.

The later part of the book is really intense, but so well-written that everything just flowed with the story.

A Little Too Much

She loves him and she loves him. The coffee table scenes were adorable… I fell for him deeper after those. Five pages later she is in Italy standing on the doorstep and drooling over to-be-priest, Alessandro. Is the hero better than the heroine?

I was initially surprised by her strong reaction to Alessandro. The first time Alessandro goes to church on Christmas with Hillary, was so touching. She feels guilty for sleeping with Trent even though she didn’t feel like it was wrong in her heart.

At this point I have no clue who I want her to be with. Next thing she’s home, Trent is home, no parents, they talk and wham they are all over each other in the way that is all but brotherly or sisterly. Throughout this book Alessandro and Hillary go on little Thursday voyages all over the city. It was both- and The end although exciting, was very rushed. When Alessandro arrives in town, the two of them begin to spend a lot of time together, old feelings are rekindled, the demons from their past come to the surface, and both of their lives get turned upside down.
