He’s one of those characters who really sticks with you; I can’t quite imagine that he’s just a fictional person because he seems so achingly real.

It is unlikely that a truly ‘African’ style would reach out to a European readership in the same way. But do you know the biggest weapon unleashed by the enemy against them?
